MATT HUGHES: Si GSP y Silva pelean, GSP ganaría

Matt Hughes habló para BJPenn.com acerca de la posibilidad de una súper pelea entre GSP y Anderson Silva. Recordemos que GSP se enfrentará el 17 de noviembre ante Carlos Condit después de más de un año fuera del octágono. Si gana es muy posible que le ofrezcan una súper pelea ante Silva (todavía no ha aceptado nada). Y esa es una pelea donde las especulaciones estarán en boca de todos, y Matt Hughes es uno de ellos.

Realmente creo que que si GSP y Silva pelean, Georges terminará con el brazo levantado. GSP no es un excelente luchador, pero hace las transiciones tan bien de “striking” a lucha que va a estar en las piernas de Anderson antes de que se dé cuenta. Creo que Georges es muy rápido y no creo que Silva vaya a poder hacer mucho con Georges encima de él. Georges va a estar en muy buena condición, siempre lo está y no creo que Silva vaya a poder usar su peso en contra de GSP para cansarlo. Si alguien se va a cansar creo que sería Silva porque no creo que va a poder estar en la posición que quiere. Georges lo pondría en posiciones muy difíciles y pienso que va a hacer una muy buena pelea y va a salir con una victoria. Si yo fuera Georges le diría a UFC que si va a haber una pelea entre ellos, que sea en las 185 libras y que Silva ponga su título en juego. Así es como lo veo, el precio sería unificar los dos cinturones. Sólo me pregunto cuánto tiempo necesitaría Georges para preparar su cuerpo para hacer la transición a las 185 libras. Me pregunto qué tan difícil es lograr el peso a las 170 libras, si se le hace difícil tal vez es momento de moverse a las 185 libras.
